Starting an SIP
Investors can enroll for Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) facility in funds launched by Zerodha Fund House on all platforms where the funds are listed.
SIP Facility is allowed for all the frequencies - Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half -yearly & Yearly.
Investor’s can select any date upto 28th of the month. If SIP date selected is either 29th, 30th or 31st of the month it will be deemed to be on the next day i.e 1st of the following month.
However, frequency allowed can vary from platform to platform.
Payment Methods
Investors may register for SIP through One Time Mandate (OTM) for payment towards any future purchase transactions.
Investors may choose any mode such as NACH/ECS/DIRECT DEBIT/ Standing Instruction (SI)/ UPI auto-mandate as per arrangements with banks or payment aggregators.
Units for every SIP will be allotted based on the availability of funds for every SIP instalment. In case the date falls on a Non-Business Day, the immediate next Business Day will be considered for this purpose.
Reasons for SIP Failure
In case of SIP investments, where the entire instalment amount is not available in the bank account, the SIP for that month would be rejected.
The SIP registration will be discontinued in cases where three (3) consecutive instalments are not honored.
