  1. How did I receive a message from Zerodha Fund House about investing directly through WhatsApp?

Our new transaction flow allows you to invest in Index funds in a few clicks, making it easier than ever for you to grow your portfolio

  2. How can I confirm that a WhatsApp message is from Zerodha Fund House?

    To verify that a WhatsApp message is from Zerodha Fund House, make sure the sender's number is +91-9845335486. This is the only number we use for our WhatsApp messages.


  3. Where can I track my investments made through WhatsApp?

    Investment made in schemes of Zerodha Mutual Fund through Whatsapp channel can be tracked on the same platform that was used while creating the highlighted folio mentioned in the whatsapp message. Refer screenshot for the same.





  4. Can I use WhatsApp to invest in other Zerodha Fund House schemes?

We're currently rolling out our WhatsApp investment flow for just the selected scheme, but stay tuned! We're working hard to add more Zerodha Fund House schemes in the near future.

  1. My transaction failed, but my funds were still debited. What should I do?

    Apologies for the hassle you've experienced. This usually happens when the bank account used for the transaction is different from the one linked to your folio. But don't worry, we'll refund your money to the same account. If there's another issue, please contact our team at [email protected]


  2. Can I track or redeem my investment through WhatsApp?

    At the moment, you can't, but we’re working on making it happen! In the meantime, if you're a Coin user, you can simply redeem your investment from the Coin app. For those who first purchased through another app, you can try exporting your external investments to other apps or using the Mutual Funds Central app

  3. Can I start SIP through WhatsApp?

    Not just yet, but this is definitely a feature we’re excited to bring to our investors. Our team is hard at work making it possible for you to set up your SIPs through WhatsApp

  4. What is the maximum amount I can invest?

    The maximum amount you can invest is subject to the UPI transaction limit set by your bank. Most banks cap daily UPI transactions at ₹1 Lakh, so this will be your maximum investment limit per day

  5. Why can't I see the WhatsApp investment option?

    Our WhatsApp investment feature is still being rolled out in phases, which means it’s currently only available to investors who have previously made investments with Zerodha Fund House. If you’ve invested with us before and still can't access the feature, please drop us an email at [email protected]

  6. How secure is my transaction when I invest via WhatsApp?

    All UPI transactions are secured by your bank's UPI PIN, and no confidential information is stored on our servers

  7. Can I invest from any bank account?

    To ensure the investment is processed successfully, you must make the payment from the same bank account you used when you first made your first investment in this scheme. We also show the last 4 digits of your account number and bank name on the screen where you select the UPI app

  8. I invested ₹1,000, but only ₹999.95 was invested. Why is that?

    Stamp duty, which is 0.005% of investment amount, is deducted from the investment amount for any investment over ₹100, regardless of the platform.
