Why mutual funds instead of stocks?
A mutual fund provides diversification through exposure to a multitude of stocks. The reason that owning shares in a mutual fund is recommended over owning a single stock is that an individual stock carries more risk than a mutual fund.
Are mutual funds safe?
Mutual Fund Investments are subject to market risk and other applicable risks depending on the nature of the scheme and the investment objective of the scheme. Each scheme has a different risk profile which is reflected in the scheme information document through the risk-o-meter in comparison to the scheme's defined benchmark. Please read the offer document carefully before investing.
