Difference between base expense ratio and total expense ratio

Base Expense Ratio: It includes the essential annual operating expenses like management fees. It's the core cost of running the fund.


Total Expense Ratio (TER): It adds up all costs, including base expenses and GST. TER gives a more complete picture of the overall cost to investors in a mutual fund.
